The emissions of ten chemical species are given in the inventory: SO<sub>2<\/sub>, NO<sub>x<\/sub>, CO, NMVOCs, NH<sub>3<\/sub>, PM<sub>10<\/sub>, PM<sub>2.5<\/sub>, BC, OC, CO<sub>2<\/sub>. The inventory for the years 2003\u20122017 is developed based on the fire radiative power data from MODIS active fire products, with about 0.1\u00b0 spatial resolution and monthly\/daily temporal variation. Four types of open fires are identified: forest, shrubland fires, grassland and cropland. The emissions for 1980\u20122002 are estimated primarily using the Chinese provincial-level statistical year book, only those for forest fires in 2000\u20122002 estimated using satellite-based burned area products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you have any questions, please contact Dr. Mingxu Liu (lmingxu@126.com), Prof. Xin Huang (xinhuang@nju.edu.cn) or Prof. Yu Song (songyu@pku.edu.cn).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>Readme &gt;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The biomass burning&nbsp;emission inventory is restricted to non-commercial purposes. Any uses of this emission inventory&nbsp;by business organizations are regarded as commercial purpose which needs prior authorization.<\/li><li>Users are not permitted to distribute the emission&nbsp;data to any third-party.<\/li><li>User must ensure the data integrity and independence when using this emission inventory.
